The colour she had earned the right to wear is her red ribbon, which she wears to tie up her ponytail. She wears mainly black and white because colour was reserved for the Lady of Shadows and her entourage, as standing out was for those who had earned it. ![]() The styles in the Halls of the Dead were described as being Grecian or Pre-Raphaelite. She had packed diaphanous gowns and gauzy black shirts for her arrival at school, but had to wear clothes from the shared wardrobe as her parents left those at their house. When she first arrives, she's wearing black jeans and ankle boots with a white tank top and faux pearl bracelets. Before traveled to the Halls of the Dead, her hair was black like her mothers. She has bone-white hair with five black streaks on one side, which she wears in a ponytail with a pomegranate red ribbon. Eleanor describes there being something of the unformed around her eyes and mouth, leaving her a work in progress, meant to be finished by time. ![]() She's very pale due to there being no sun in the Halls of Dead, where she had spent several years. Nancy is described as being tall and willowy with light blue eyes as pale as ice. ![]()
